Values and Ethos
Our aim is to bring the best out of every pupil that attends William de Yaxley C of E Academy
Our Core Values
The heart of William de Yaxley, a Benedictine monk, who was an Abbot of Thorney (1261 – 1293) is still held in the church of St Peter’s Yaxley.
William de Yaxley C of E Academy remains close at the heart of St Peter’s church community. The school is much loved, upheld in regular prayer and maintains close links with St Peter’s.
Our chosen Bible verse underpins our vision further:
“Let all that you do be done in Love.” 1 Corinthians 16;14
The school motto “Toto Corde Meo” (With all our hearts) and our vision statement are rooted in the history of the church.
School Vision Statement:
“May our love of God, of each other and of learning make this school a happy, safe place full of faith, hope and high expectations”
