Computing Subject Vision

Using computing to develop resilient, critical, and creative children.

The teaching of computing is about creating equipped children ready to take part in a technology dominated world. We will develop well rounded independent children who tackle problems using resilience and perseverance: through learning from mistakes.

In addition to this, they will develop critical thinking to address real world problems, come up with solutions and critique those solutions. Thus, we will enable children to develop transferable skills and to have the confidence and knowledge to succeed. All this will help to allow all children to become future citizens who can use technology fluently and understand the impact of technology in the real world.
